DAO Governance
DAO Governance is how the USA ID community steers the protocol. Verified account holders create and vote on proposals — one account, one vote — across treasury, protocol, fee, and upgrade decisions. Every passed proposal is executed and recorded on-chain for full transparency. This demo explains how it works; the live proposal board and voting tools unlock once you sign in.
How to participate
Sign in
Only verified USA ID accounts can vote or create proposals — one account, one vote.
Create a proposal
Submit a title, description, category, and voting window. It enters Pending, then Active.
Cast your vote
Choose For, Against, or Abstain on any active proposal. Your vote is weighted equally.
Track the outcome
Watch tallies in real time. Passed proposals reach quorum and move to Executed with an on-chain record.

Proposal categories
Treasury

Protocol
Changes to core identity or wallet logic.
Fee Change
Adjustments to service or transaction fees.
Upgrade

One account, one vote
Voting power is tied to a verified USA ID account, not token holdings. This keeps governance fair, Sybil-resistant, and aligned with real individuals.
Quorum & tallies
Each proposal sets a quorum. For / Against / Abstain votes are tallied live; a proposal passes when it meets quorum and earns majority support.
Public DAOs (Snapshot)

On-chain execution
Passed proposals are executed and recorded with an on-chain transaction hash, giving every decision a permanent, auditable trail.
